Get back on that horse.

Well, here we are. It’s a new day, a new year, a new page.

So open those eyes. Jump back on those feet. Dust off those jeans. Slide on those boots. And get back on that horse.

Stop thinking about how you fell off. Stop thinking about that moment you got tossed. You could sit there in the dirt and think about that forever. Now is not the time for reflection-now is the time for action. So get back on that horse and start riding.

It’s a new year, and so things may look smooth now, but there will be bumps, and who knows- you might get tossed again. But there is a lot to do, a lot to learn, a lot to experience. And you’re not gonna see it or feel it if you keep your butt on the ground, sitting in that mud. Saddle up, and get back on that horse.

Now you might have spent some time looking around… at other people. It might have seemed like they have been riding smooth, straight, and out ahead of you.

Well, I got news for you.

They did what they did. You did what you did. And none of that matters now. All that matters is that you decide where you are going. And then get back on that horse and start getting there.

You got people counting on you and rooting for you. I’m one of them. I’m ready to clap, hoot and holler, and cheer you on. You just gotta get back on that horse.

You have spent enough time thinking about what already happened and harping on what might happen. Shoot, I’d suggest a little bit less thinking altogether-more action.

Right here. Right now. Today. Get back on that horse. You won’t regret it.

Happy New Year.
